Who we are
Selfie Concepts Limited (“we”, “us”) is a technology company based in Accra, Ghana. We decide how and why the personal information described here is used. You can reach us at support@selfieconcepts.com or +233 534 331 768.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, plus a little technical information.
- Enquiries. Your name, phone number, email address, the topic you need help with and your message, when you use the contact form, WhatsApp or email.
- Messages. What you send us on WhatsApp or by email, and your phone number or email address.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you the information or quote you asked for.
- To provide and look after any service you take from us.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Our lawful basis
We process personal information lawfully, for a specific purpose, and in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. Where the law requires your consent, such as when we send you an enquiry through the contact form, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers that help us run the website and talk to you, and only as far as needed:
- our website hosting provider;
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us there, under its own terms and privacy policy;
- our email provider and, once switched on, the service that delivers contact-form messages to us;
- professional advisers, and the authorities where the law requires it.
Fonts and links to other sites
This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads. Our pages link to other websites, including SelfieBooks at selfiebooks.app. SelfieBooks has its own privacy policy and terms, and this policy does not cover it.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete or anonymise them. We use sensible technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, where we have no good reason to keep it;
- stop using your information for a purpose you object to.

Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
